It is now going to be known globally as the Advanced Certificate for the Executive Assistant: ACEA™


ACEPA™ has also been called the Advanced Certificate for the Executive Assistant: ACEA™ in the USA and Canada since 2014. With over 1,000 delegates having attended thisinternationally recognised and covetedpost nominal certification, it was decided that consistency was paramount.

ACEPA™ Achieves IAM Endorsement

Business Management Training Group Ltd are delighted to announce that the Advanced Certificate for the Executive Personal Assistant (ACEPA™) is now endorsed by the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) the oldest management institute in the UK having been founded in 1915.

The IAM Endorsement scheme purpose is to recognise external resources and CPD programmes that IAM believe are of the high standard their members require to progress in the world of administrative management. Endorsement from the IAM also helps to identify programmes that are committed to driving performance improvement and raising the standards of workplace learning.

Islamic Social Finance Report 2014

The Islamic Social Finance Report 2014 is a thorough analysis of the current state of three institutions of Islamic philanthropy: Zakah, Sadaqah and Awqaf, in seven countries of South and Southeast Asia - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Singapore. The report is written by the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), an affiliate of the Islamic Development Bank Group, with research led by prominent economist Dr Mohammed Obaidullah.

Financial Risk Management

In advance of an official Kuwaiti Government announcement on the treatment of Financial Risk (Risk Mandate in Kuwait) BMTG commissioned a new Financial Risk Management course entitled :- Advanced Certificate in Financial Risk Management (ACFRM).

After the increasing incidents of high profile corporate financial risk, the Kuwait government now require that all organisations that they are involved with , have a designated individual responsible for managing risk. The need for individuals with financial risk management expertise has been filled with expats, mainly from India, but there is now a push to increase the skill base of the local workforce.

The BMTG ACFRM course will address the specific directives being raised in Kuwait, and will address in advance similar directives which will follow across the GCC region, Africa and Asia.

BMTG Launches its first course in Turkey

This week in Istanbul, Turkey, BMTG held its first course in this important country. Delegates came to the Advanced Certificate in Project Management (ACPM) from as far away as Sudan. The delegates were delighted with both the course and the location. BMTG look forwards to further success in Turkey and will be returning to Istanbul in February 2014.

Live Below the Line

Live Below the Line is an innovative awareness and fundraising campaign that's making a huge difference in the fight against extreme poverty.

From 29th April - 3rd May 2013 volunteers will spend one week "living below the line" with the purpose of raising awareness of extreme poverty whilst raising funds for nominated special causes.

BMTG conduct first event in Mainland China

The Advanced Certificate in Strategic Procurement (ACSP) was held in Beijing in March 2013 attended by 8 delegates from two leading Oil & Gas companies. Feedback on the course was very positive with the Trainer Matt Harrison and the course content scoring 100% from all delegates.

Commenting on this event Asia based Director of BMTG Stephen Wylie said "The PRC was set as a target for BMTG for 2013 and we are delighted to have now completed our first of many such events. We are particularly enthused by the 100% positive feedback from all delegates".

UNICEF Sponsored Delegates attend BMTG Course

Eight members of the Management Team from the Rwandan Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA) successfully completed an internationally accredited BMTG Advanced Certificate in Project Management (ACPM™) course held recently in the capital city of Rwanda, Kigali.

This was the first in a range of planned courses for EWSA in Rwanda in 2013 and this was fully funded by UNICEF.

BMTG look forward to co-operating further with UNICEF to provide additional training for Management of other Governmental agencies in other locations throughout Africa.

BMTG Oil & Gas Training Services

BMTG has become an official Partner of one of the worlds most prominent Oil and Gas Training Organisations. We will be responsible for 'Business Management and Vocational Skills Training' which will complement our Partners Technical Training courses.

In addition to the above, BMTG has also been nominated as 'Business Management and Vocational Skills Training' providers for a Professional Body which provides, and oversees, all training for 90 Oil & Gas companies in a particular Middle Eastern country. We will make further announcements and press releases upon final signing of contracts, but this represents a significant achievement in the growth of BMTG and highlights the reputation in this sector that we have been building over the past 12 months.

Trainers and MasterClasses

BMTG now has 16 Associated Trainers and has developed a series of MasterClasses to complement our already successful Courses. We have seen success in all MasterClasses throughout our Partner Network. Our Associated Trainers are striving to produce more thought-leading 'White Papers' and new MasterClasses to meet demand.

These will be released periodically.

Our Courses and MasterClasses continue to be requested both in Public Training forums and also in In-House Training forums and we are currently translating several of our Courses into non-English Language versions to enable more localised delivery via our Partner Network.

This gives a successful BMTG delegate, the added security that their qualification is accredited not only by Qualifi, under the UK Regulatory Framework, but also validated by a prestigious representative body like The British Council.

The Karitato Initiative is a Business Management Sponsored Learning Programme forming part of BMTG’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy under the stewardship of the Business Management Training Council.

BMTC is fully committed to making the Karitato Initiative a success wherever training is being held, whether that is in Asia, Africa or other locations, whereby deserving individuals or organisations that may not have the financial funding to otherwise obtain world best practice training can more readily have key staff attend a course in a specialised discipline.

The BMTG Partners have agreed to support the Karitato Initiative by offering one free place per course to a delegate from an approved charitable body or other such deserving social support organisation in the country where the training is being held.

Examples of organisations who may qualify for consideration under this Sponsored learning Programme include the International Red Cross and Red Crescent, Medecins Sans Frontiers, Orbis, UNESCO, Green Cross International, Other NGO’s, Local Charity Organisations and any Organisations who care for the sick and underprivileged in a local environment and so forth.

The Patron of this initiative is Lord Jack McConnell; Baron McConnell of Glenscorrodale is a British Labour life peer in the House of Lords of the United Kingdom and a Member of the Scottish Parliament from 1999 to 2011.
